Effective January 1, 2006, a minimum of $100,000.00 liability insurance shall be required
for electrical, mechanical, or plumbing licenses issued by the city. Prior to issuance
of an electrical, mechanical or plumbing license by the city, the licensee shall present
to the city a certificate of insurance evidencing the $100,000.00 minimum liability
insurance policy. A lapse of the required minimum liability insurance shall revoke
the city license until proof of insurance is provided.
