§ 8-122. Defective plumbing and drainlaying.

  • Any old or new plumbing or drainlaying which is found to be defective by the building official or his designee shall be repaired or corrected after the building official or his designee shall have given due notice of such defects. The building official or his designee shall decide the defects of the materials, labor and methods used, and the interpretation of the regulations set forth in this division. An appeal from the decision of the building official shall be made to the mayor and board of aldermen, and shall be filed in writing within three days after the building official's decision is made. In case of such an appeal, the work shall be stopped until completion of the review and decision by the mayor and board of aldermen.
