§ 12-3. Municipal elections to be held at time of congressional elections.

Under the authority of R.S. 33:383, the city adopted a plan for holding municipal elections in the city at the time congressional elections are held in accordance with R.S. 18:402(B), beginning with the congressional election in the year 1986, and such elected officials of the city shall be elected every four years at the time of the congressional elections.
