§ 11-99. Reckless operation of a vehicle.

  • (a)

    For the purposes of this section, the term "reckless operation of a vehicle" means the operation of any motor vehicle, aircraft, vessel or other means of conveyance in a criminally negligent or reckless manner.

    (b)

    Any person who commits the offense of reckless operation of a vehicle shall be fined not more than $200.00 and/or be imprisoned for not more than 60 days.

    (c)

    Upon a second or subsequent conviction under this section, the offender shall be fined not less than $25.00 nor more than $500.00 and/or be imprisoned for not less than ten days nor more than 60 days.
